BH Cosmetics Forever Nude Sculpt and Glow palette review + FOTD!

Hello Girls

Happy weekend. Hope you guys had a nice Saturday 🙂 I literally slept through the day and then went to the mall in the evening. I was in a red lip mood today. I used red lipstick after so long and it made my face look so bright instantly. Love it! Anyways I though I would review this BH Cosmetics palette that I have been using since long to contour my face a bit. I am not too big on the contouring trend so I dont have many products to contour with. To be honest, this is the one palette that I use for the purpose. Read on to know more!

There are 3 cheek colours and 2 highlighters in the palette. The colours are dark brown, lighter brown, shimmery pink, light champagne and a matte yellow. The two brown shades are so nice for contouring for people with light to medium skintones. You can tone it down for every day or go up a notch for a more sculpted look. I usually use the darker brown for contouring just my cheek bones a little bit. There is a built in mirror which is perfect for touch ups.

The texture is so smooth and very very slightly powdery. If you use a softer brush there would be no fall out at all. I use an angled blush brush to sculpt the cheekbones. The middle brown can be used to nicely bronze up the skin, it would not be too good for contouring since it is a bit light. The blush is a peachy pink in colour with golden shimmer. It would look a bit ashy on darker skintones but looks very nice and natural on medium to light skintones. It has a bit of shimmer so you may not want to use it for everyday if shimmer is not your thing.

The two highlight shades have the same texture as the rest of the palette- smooth and no fall out. I use the matte yellow shade under the brow bone. It does not do much for the cheekbones though. The other colour is a lighter champagne with very fine shimmer. It is very flattering on medium and light skintones but for darker ones it will look a bit odd. On my skintone, I prefer a highlighter with more of a golden finish because i believe that looks best on Olive skintones. The most used thing in this palette is the darker brown contouring shade. I absolutely love it.

The staying power is pretty good. It lasts all day on me. You can blend it into the skin easily. BH Cosmetics does not test on animals which is a big YAY 🙂 They do ship to India although the shipping is a bit on the higher end. You can always order together so the charges seem a bit lesser. I cannot really comment on the Customs though. I’ve heard they charge horribly at times.

Overall, I love this palette and I think it is a steal for the current sale price. They have one for darker shades too, so if you are over NC 40 then you should check that one out 🙂

I’ve used it lightly to contour and highlight below.
