Hey girls
Hope you’re all having a good weekend. I’m back with another lipstick review! What can I say, I just cant stop buying them. Colorbar is an Indian brand which is pretty popular for having a variety of colours in lipsticks and nail paints. Their store is kind of like a MAC store with all the different lipsticks and makeup products. The lipstick I am reviewing today is in their creme touch range. It glides on so smooth and smells amazing too. Read on to know more 🙂
Price – 450/-
The lipstick comes in a silver bullet with a magnetic cap. The name of the colour is written on the bottom. It opens and closes easily so no problems on the packaging front.
The colour is kind of a mauve brown. It is surely a universally flattering colour and would look good on all skintones. The pigmentation is amazing. It goes on super smooth and glides easily. It has a lot of sheen to it almost like a gloss. The fragrance is kind of like Vanilla which I really love.
The staying power is not too amazing because it is a creamy lipstick. The lipstick nicely covers lip lines and does not accentuate any of the dryness of the lips. It stays on for about 2 hours and disappears even faster if you eat or have a snack in between. This is the second lip colour that I have in this range. Although I lean more towards mattes these days, I still occasionally enjoy using these creamy lipsticks.
The lipstick thankfully does not bleed out of the lips. I think it looks very healthy on the lips and I am totally going to be using it more in the future. I think if you are looking for a good everyday lip colour then you should totally check this one out 🙂
Here are the lip swatches 🙂
PROS:
1. Universal shade, would suit all
2. Affordable
3. Smells great
4. Good pigmentation
5. Glides smoothly
6. Does not settle in lip lines
CONS:
1. Low staying power
My rating – 4/5
See you all soon 🙂
