Colourpop Highlighter in Lunch Money Review!

Heya

I’m finally back. Sorry it’s a Colourpop review again. I clicked the pictures of all of my colourpop products so I can review them. I planned on doing a few other things over the last week but the weather got to me and I wasnt feeling too good hence couldn’t click any more pictures for the blog. Sowieee 😛 I am really into highlighters lately. When I first saw that Colourpop came out with Cheek products I just knew I had to get some of them. Read on to know what I think of this one 🙂

Price – $8

Availability – www.colourpop.com. In India Insta stores like lachicwick, shopyour addiction etc

Lunch Money is a pearlized finish highlighter with very very fine shimmer particles. It’s a bit yellowtoned which makes it perfect for Indian skintones. The texture is the same as all the other products. It’s very soft and almost cushiony. The pigmentation on this one is way better than that on the blush I have (Review is here). The best way to use it is with fingers or a stippling brush, I prefer using my fingers. I have tried to use a dense brush in the past but somehow I think these work best when used with fingers.

The shimmer is soooo fine that it gives a very nice glow to the skin. It’s easy to blend and does not have any fall out. The glow from the highlight is very natural and not in your face glittery. I think I chose the best shade out of all the other highlighters. I will try it with my Real Techniques setting brush soon and see if that gives a better effect.

The staying power is easily 6-7 hours. I use it to highlight my cheekbones a bit and the highlighter is there when I remove my makeup at the end of the day.

Overall, I love this product and I am glad I bought it. The only thing is that the application can be a bit tricky due to the texture but I dont mind it too much as I am always experimenting. I think for this price it is a total hit 🙂

  2. I like the texture. The shade and the staying power is really impressive. I mean I have used a highlighter which has long staying power but none survives till I remove the makeup. Great review 🙂

  3. Pigment is quite impressive! Nice review dear 🙂
