Colourpop Lippie Stix in Grunge review!

I hope you’re following me in Insta – if you’re not then whyyy 😛 A few days ago I posted a picture with a brownish lipstick on which I completely love. I was actually a bit skeptical on whether I should use a brown shade or not. For some reason to me brown always translates as an Aunty-ish colour. I dont think all browns look flattering on me so I didnt expect too much from this one either but I was so pleasantly surprised. Since it is matte, it looks so classy and almost Kylie Jenner kinds. Not that I am a big fan of her but personally I love her lip colours. Read on to know more about this one 🙂

The major problem with Colourpop is really their availability in India. I wish the shipping to India was easy but here we have so many customs issues that I dont prefer ordering much stuff here. I think it is actually kind of good otherwise my salary every month would probably go to Colourpop 😛 It is seriously amazing!

This lippie stix is in the matte finish. I really enjoy their matte finishes as they are not even very drying. The fragrance is sooooo good. I am a big fan of Vanilla or Cocoa kind of a fragrance and this seems like a heavenly mixture of both. Honestly this lippie stick can compete with a Mac lipstick anyday. To be honest I have not bought a Mac lipstick ever since I bought these lippie stixs.

The pigmentation is really nice too. It goes completely opaque in one swipe. Two swipes is all you need to make it look classy and nice. The tip is very thin hence it is so easy to be precise with it. The staying power is so impressive. Since it is a matte, it lasts around 5-6 hours on me. It does transfer a little bit but does not bleed at all. It stays put where it is all through the day. The lipstick is not drying at all. I mean I have dry eczema prone lips and this absolutely did not dry them out or cause any issues.

Honestly, I only have good things to say about this lippie stix. If the brown shade is not up your alley maybe you should check out Lumiere. It is also in a matte finish and is such a gorgeous shade (review is here). As always, if you get a chance to buy Colourpop DO NOT let it go 😛 You will not regret it.
