Colourpop Ultra Matte Lippie in Bumble review!

How are you lately? I am in a phase of trying a lot of new makeup and I am absolutely loving the change from the same old makeup routine. I am really digging Matte lips lately, I have found out that if I moisturize my lips properly I can actually pull the matte lipstick trend off. I feel that the Liquid lipsticks look better compared to the matte lipsticks in terms of the texture. While I was not a big fan of the new Maybelline Matte lipstick (Review here) I absolutely love the liquid lipsticks by Colourpop. I am reviewing one lipstick from their Ultra Matte range today.

The packaging is a standard lip gloss one and it has a doe foot applicator. The applicator makes it so easy to put on the lipstick in a precise manner. I sometimes use a lip liner to further define the edges and sometimes skip it. I think if you have a very steady hand you probably dont need a lip liner. It is pretty easy to get a clean line with this applicator.

The lipstick goes on glossy and dries within a few seconds. The pigmentation is AMAZING. I mean in just one coat you can get that bang on opaque colour. It is spreads easily and smoothly. The colour Bumble is a brownish coral shade which I feel is universally flattering. It will look good on all skintones I assure you. You can wear it for special occasions or for everyday. Its one lovely colour and I am a big fan of it. I have been wearing it continuously this last week and I just dont get tired of it.

Now I have to say, it is a littel bit drying. If you put on lip balm underneath, it takes care of the dryness. My lips are extremely dry and have a lot of lines but this product does not accentuate any of the problems which is why I love it so much. The lippie is smudge proof. You can touch it to anything and it does not fade away at all. Even after a full meal, only a bit of the colour fades away from the inner corner. It lasts pretty much 8 hours and you dont even need a touch up within those 8 hours.

I highly recommend it to you all. If you know anyone coming over from the States, do look into Colourpop stuff and make an order. I dont think you will ever regret it. All of their stuff is amazing.
