Hello Babes
I’m just dropping by to bring you a quick review and swatches of these super affordable lip liners I found from Essence. I recently discovered an Essence counter in my hometown and ever since then I have been making sure to visit it often to check for any new launches or interesting makeup products that I dont own. I was looking at their Lip products and was totally blown away by the prices they have. I did a small Essence haul on my blog a while ago (Check it out here). I got two of their lip liners – one is a classic red and the other a soft pink. Both are colours that can go with the standard lip colours every girl has. Read on to know more 🙂
Price- 129/-
Availability – Essence counters and online on Amazon etc
I have one other liner from Essence which is an everyday shade. That was the first one that I bought. I was so happy with the texture and pigmentation that I decided to go get more. The red one I got to pair with my Bright red lipsticks as I did not have a true red shade to go with them.
The texture is very smooth and they glide on easily. They are both nice and pigmented and do not bleed or settle into the lip lines. The staying power is pretty good considering it is a liner. I almost never wear lip liners alone so I have not tested it that way but I am sure it’s still great.
The colours would flatter all of the skintones. If you only wear reds occasionally and do not want to spend too much on a lip liner then this is your best choice. The pink is a light pink colour that will pair well with both n*des and lighter shades. I just love these for the price they go for. My pink one got a bit squished by the cap by clumsy myself. They do not melt or break in summers.
Overall, I highly recommend these. They are so good for the price!
PROS:
1. Pigmented
2. Do not settle into lip lines
3. Affordable
4. Good staying power
5. Easily available these days
CONS:
1. None for this price
My rating – 5/5
