Flormar Loose Powder Review

Hello Girls

I cannot even begin to express how much I am looking forward to Friday this week. For some reason, it feels like the week is going on and on. One of the best parts of my day is getting ready in the mornings. I love trying on different lip colours and blushes. Although my look is almost the same everyday but it feels good to have makeup options 🙂 I’m bringing you a review of a face powder which a got a while ago through my Fab Bag subscription. Read on to know more about this powder.

The colour I have in this is 002 I believe which is a light yellow powder. The powder in itself does not have too much of coverage. It comes in a Screw off cap packaging with a big cute puff to use it with. As you can see from the pictures below, I have never used my puff for that purpose. I just dont think it is the right texture and size to use on the face. There is a stick on plastic that I have not fully removed because I dont want the powder to go all over the place. I just pull it back halfway and then take out some loose powder into the cap to use.

The powder is very finely milled and is light yellow in shade. It is a teeny bit lighter than my skintone which is why I dont always use it all over my face. I mainly use it as a setting powder for areas that crease. I have major Concealer creasing issues. Everything I use gets into every single line that I have under my eyes. I was so desperate to find something that could stop that from happening. This powder was lying around when one day I decided to ‘bake’ my concealer with it and see if it makes any difference. The results were so good that this has become my go to powder to set my concealer. I have even used it in this tutorial here.

The powder looks a little bit too whitish on me if used all over the face since the shade is very light. I use it if my BB Cream is a bit darker. It has nice oil controlling properties and keeps my face matte for a good 2-3 hours beyond which no product has been able to control oil. I prefer blotting my skin rather than using too many products that would block my oil glands for everyday basis. The coverage is very very light but it gives my undereye area that extra coverage when used in a baking method and that I really like. I do agree, it does not look too natural if you look very closely but I dont mind that. No one is getting into my face just to notice I have powder there 😛

To be honest, this is one product that I love to use to set my undereye concealer. The only con is that it is more on the expensive side since you can pretty much get Ben Nye powder for a lower price and that can be used for this concealer technique too. The availability is a big issue though.

I have used it here to set my concealer.
