Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water Review plus comparison with Bioderma!

Hello guys

Are any of you as excited for Friday as I always am? I just look forward to the weekend all week long. I wish I could work from home all the time 😛 Festival season is almost here! This time of the year gets me sooo excited with all the occasions coming up. I want to do a few makeup looks for you. I have been thinking of starting a Youtube channel but that is still an ongoing thing in my head 🙂 Let me know if you would want me to start one! Coming to today’s review, I have forever been obsessed with Bioderma’s Micellar cleansing water. I purchased 2 bottles of 500 ml each from Paris and they lasted me 2 years each. When I ran out I thought of what other options I have. I saw a few reviews of this Garnier one online and thought it might be an affordable option. You can get this online from www.feelunique.com. Read on to know more 🙂

Price – About 5 pounds which is about 500 INR

The micellar water is literally like water. It has no fragrance and is suitable even for sensitive skin. You get these in the wipes form as well but there are only about 25 wipes for the same price. This one is supposed to last for 200 uses which is a really good use of it. I love that it is so inexpensive. The 250 ml bottle of Bioderma costs around 800 INR (review is here).

I love the packaging of this one. Kind of looks like a Vodka bottle hahaha. I remember in the past people used to confuse my Bioderma with Vodka and give me expressions like 😐 I thought you said you didnt drink 😛 Crazy! This feels like water on the skin and you dont have to wash your face after using it. It takes off makeup pretty well except Waterproof mascara. The cleansing power is definitely lower than that of Bioderma. For me that removed every single trace of makeup I had including waterproof mascara. So this I mainly use to take face makeup off. It leaves the skin feeling fresh afterwards. For mascara I have to use an oil based makeup remover. I literally hate the feeling of those on my skin.

This one did not dry out my skin or cause any breakouts so I would say it is suitable for sensitive skin. There is another Sensitive version of it for people with super sensitive skins.

Overall, I would say that bioderma does a better job at wiping all of the makeup away than this. This would come as a close second but for the price I cant really complain. I would recommend this to all of you that dont use waterproof makeup much haha!

PROS:

1. No greasy feeling

2. Feels like water on the skin

3. No need to wash face again

4. Affordable

5. Easy to use packaging

CONS:

1. Not available in India

2. Does not remove waterproof makeup

My rating – 4/5

To all of my friends celebrating Karwachauth today hope you have a great day and Happy Karwachauth.

x
