Hey Pretties
I thought I would review my favourite product for when I want to add a bit of shine to my eyes without using an eyeshadow or anything. This product is perfect for those Indian outfits and looks really nice is applied properly. It is Lakme’s liquid liner in the Golden colour. It is a true bright yellow gold colour which applies smooth and lasts pretty long.
Price – 325/-
Usually when I go for a black liquid liner I always prefer a matte one instead of a Shiny one. It’s just my personal preference. I’m sure there are many others who prefer a more of a shiny look. When Lakme launched these new liners I was very intrigued and I wanted to try out something different. The golden colour looked so attractive that I had to get this one.
The packaging is a standard one with a non spill top. The brush is thin and in between soft and stiff. It lets you make a very fine line and it is very easy to use. The quantity is also very good for the price that you get.
The colour is like you crushed a few pieces of foil and filled up the tube with it. It is just so pretty. It is more on the Yellow side of golden though. On one swipe it does not go completely opaque and you have to go over it again to create a more defined line. It is a very easy to use liner and I have no problems with the application of it at all.
The staying power is pretty amazing. It easily lasts over 8 hours, after which it starts flaking a little bit. It is not too noticeable though. Also another use for this is you can use it as glitter liner all over your eyes to get that oomph with Smokey eyes. I have tried a lot of different looks with this and this fares well with all.
Look at all that Glittery goodness!
Overall, I really love this liner. If you are looking for a decently priced liquid liner that has lots of glitter and drama you should definitely give this one a try. I love it.
