Okay so I have been delaying this post since sooooo long. I went in to MAC to try a few lipsticks and lipglosses a while ago. As always I tried some lipglosses but found them too sticky for me. So I bought Mac’s Viva Glam 5, and I made such a good decision. I am in love with this lipstick and I must say this is by far my favourite out of all my Mac lipsticks. It belongs to the Lustre category and is absolutely gorgeous.
Price:- Bought it for 990/- but Mac raised prices to 1190/- :'(
The lipstick is lustre finish, which is my favourite finish by MAC. I wish it lasted longer too but oh well, I dont really mind reapplying it. It goes on smoothly and has that yummy Vanilla fragrance that I love. It has tiny shimmer flecks which are not at all gritty. They just give the lips such a plump and glossy look. Personally I am not a glitter fan, but this one is exceptional.
The colour is a light beige, pretty everyday but will also go well will smokey eyes and other makeup. It will definitely wash out skintones darker than NC 40. So make sure you try it out in store before you buy. On me it looks like a nice everyday peachy pink colour. I just love it so much.
It does not last too long. After 2 or 3 hours, the shimmer kind of gets in the lip lines and looks a little odd when looked at closely. So it does need a touch up. but I dont mind, I love the freshly applied fragrance. Yum Yum!
I ve never seen a drugstore colour similar to this one so far. Its so unique. I love the fact that the money from the Viva Glam range goes for AIDS funds. I am a big fan of this one. I do recommend all of you to try it out in store for sure.

1. Does nt last too long
2. May not suit darker skintones
