Hey girls
So I am finally reviewing my Fit me foundation by Maybelline. For pretty long I was so confused whether I should buy this or not since my Loreal True Match (Review here) wasnt event 20% used yet. I love the true match one too but it had started getting a bit oily on me and also got into a few smile lines. I must have developed more lines since the time I bought it. This version of Fit me is the Matte and Poreless and I was happy about that because my skin is kind of oily (apart from the eczema areas) and I wanted something matte. Since this comes with such an affordable price tag, I decided to give it a go. I am not someone who uses foundation everyday but I have to admit I have been using this every single day since I got it. Read on to know more 🙂
Price – 525/-
The foundation comes in a glass bottle with no pump. I have not yet had any problems without the pump but I imagine it can get pretty messy if you are not careful with it. I hope Maybelline soon introduces a pump version of it.
The best part of this foundation to me is the ease with which it blends. I usually go for a very thin layer for everyday and just blend it out with my fingers. For special occasions I use my Real Techniques blender (Review here) to get a heavier coverage. The coverage this foundation gives is medium to heavy. It is easily buildable and does not look cakey at all. Thsi colour is such a perfect match for my skintone. I dont need to put foundation on my neck to match it to my face with this.
This foundation does not emphasize any of my smile lines which is a big win win. It does look a bit matte when you first put it on but I actually prefer it that way. You should use a good moisturizer underneath to keep the skin hydrated. It keeps my face matte for 4 hours which is pretty good. Definitely does not emphasize the dry patches on my face too much. If you use a good moisturizer I dont think you will have this problem either.
Overall, I absolutely love this foundation. I have not had any issues with it so far. I think it is one of the best affordable ones we have in the Indian market. If you are looking for a new one, give this a go 🙂
Wearing my nail paint in Mint for Life 🙂
I have used this foundation in my recent post in which I am wearing Floral Lehnga. See that here.
PROS:
1. Affordable
2. Keeps skin matte
3. Does not emphasize lines
4. Good coverage
5. Blends easily
CONS:
1. Not too many colour options for darker skintones
My rating – 5/5
See you all soon!

Sadly I didn’t like this foundation, it made my skin extremely dry and flaky. I think of trying this out with a heavy moisturiser beneath, to keep my skin hydrated. Hope this works well for me 🙂

Try it with something like Cetaphil 🙂

5/5? Okay, this sounds like a great foundation at this price! I’d check out the shades though, Harman! I’m definitely picking this if I find a shade that matches my deep skin tone. Thanks for the wonderful review! 🙂

I have it and i love it as much as you do harman..But I have observed it gets oxidised slightly.. I could notice it because it showed up on my neck when I hadn’t blended it well..The time i applied it i could not make out if i had foundation at that part of neck but after sometime i could see the difference 😛

Oh that’s strange. It has never oxidised on me. Maybe because of the current weather. Lets see how it does in the summer season

Blogger’s are going on and on raving about this foundation and I would love to try it. Just afraid I have dry skin. Would it be a problem?
You have eczema problem right? Still you managed to use it. Nicely reviewed!

I absolutely love it. You should use something like cetaphil underneath then it will surely be fine 🙂
