Nyx Liquid Suede Lipstick in Soft Spoken Review!

Hello everyone

I’m back with another lip product review. I can’t help it. Lipsticks are my most bought makeup product. I can never have enough of them. A few weeks ago I don’t know what came over me and I just wanted Kat Von D Lolita lipstick but I did not really want to spend extra money on it just to get it right away. I began searching for dupes and saw some bloggers mention this Nyx liquid suede lipstick in Soft spoken as a dupe. I contacted Instagram pages and got it for a great price through beautytales.in. While we’re talking about Nyx, did you notice their new Instagram page specifically for India? The brand is keeping it a secret but it’s common knowledge that they are launching in India soon both offline and online. Omg I am so excited and already have a big list in mind of products I want to buy. I just hope the prices are at par with the US prices and not higher. Just cant wait for July now!

Coming to this lipstick, the packaging is pretty standard for a liquid lipstick. The applicator is an elongated doe foot which makes it so easy to apply the lipstick. It has a big diamond like thing on the top which looks so cute to me 😀

The texture is neither too runny nor is it too thick. It is super pigmented and glides on sooo smooth. The fragrance is weird but it doesnt linger for long hence does not bother me much. I just cant stop raving about the texture of this one, its just so amazing. The lipstick does not settle into lip lines at all like my Stila one (review here) and is the most non drying texture I have ever owned. Literally, this is the least drying of all my liquid lipsticks and is almost transfer proof. It is nice and matte and does not bleed or feather.

Honestly, I was not expecting this great quality and I am so pleasantly surprised. I just cannot believe I did not buy it sooner. The staying power is amazeballs! It stays on for 8 hours easily. I literally dont have to retouch it but I just do because I love it so much. Hands down my favourite, I think I like this a little bit more than the Stila one and I have been wearing it so often lately. I wore this on my birthday as well.

I almost forgot to tell you about the colour. The colour is like a mauvey brown. I think it will suit every single skintone out there. It is totally that Kylie Jenner kind of a colour and I think it actually could be really close to KVD Lolita. This one goes amazingly well with Mac lip liner in Soar (Review here).

Overall, I just love this liquid lipstick and I think you should all give this range a go. It may be better to wait for Nyx to launch in India so you can pick and choose the colour you want 🙂

Oo this color is lovely, looks amazing on you. I actually want to buy one, I am just waiting till July 😀
My freind from US has allmost all the liquid lipsticks brands. According to her Katvon D, ABL, Jefree are all overhyped. Colorpop and NYX are far better. I almost bought a Kat Von D then I skipped it due to her advice. So just check the reviews around , makeupalley or something before going for those 🙂

Thank you 🙂 Oh I am waiting so much too! I agree, these drugstore brands are seriously at par with the expensive ones. That’s why I bought lots of makeup from drugstore always!

Harman I am desperately waiting for Nyx to launch in India next month.I have so many products on my wishlist,I also hope amd pray that the prices are at par with the US prices.Loved this nude lip color.Nice detailed review Harman.
