Stila All Day Stay Liquid Lipstick in Caramello review!

You know by now how much liquid lipsticks are trending lately. I myself have quite a few of them from Colourpop and Nyx. I never thought of trying Stila ones until my cousin gave me this travel sized cute little one in the shade Caramello. The first time I used it, I just fell in love. I am warning you already, this review is just me raving about how much I love it. No kidding – I want to use this one every single day. I love it that much! This shade Caramello came in a set but you can purchase it individually as well. Sadly it is not available in India and if you want to order it you have to do that through Instagram stores. Read on to know why I love it so much 🙂

Caramello is a very light nude shade which I have used in a post before. I will link to it at the end of the post so you have a better idea of how it looks on me. I have to say, this colour is very light and would surely not work for everyone. I need to apply a darker lip liner in order to made the colour less concealer like on me. The colour does become a little bit darker after it sets hence I can make it work for me.

The texture is an absolute delight. It glides on sooo smooth and covers the lips very evenly. It smells amazing as well. The fragrance is like a toffee or vanilla. I just love it. The moment I put this on I am like wowww! I dont really care if it doesnt suit me too much I just know I have to work it some how haha! The staying power is awesome. I mean it transfers very very little and is waterproof. When I swatched it on my hand, I forgot that I still had it on and then washed my hands with a hand wash. To my surprise it did not budge at all. It just stayed on until I rubbed it off with a towel.

It does not dry my lips out. Its definitely less drying than the Colourpop ones. The only con I can think of with this is that it kind of settles in the lip lines maybe because of its very thin texture but if you go over with your fingers it will surely look a lot better. This colour goes on so evenly and is not the least bit patchy. I honestly dont mind it at all. I already have my list of future Stila stay all day lipsticks to buy, I am just waiting for someone to come from the US 😛 I most certainly hope all the colours have similar textures and I love them as much as I love this one.

Overall, I love love love this lipstick and I would say if you want to try any, get this brand although opt for a darker colour. Until I find more colours in this, I am going to keep using and abusing this one 🙂
