Aveeno Positively Radiant Moisturizer SPF 30 review!

Hey guys

I just realized I have done so few skincare posts in the last few months. I try so many skincare products very often because I am always looking to find something that can help me improve my skintone and get rid of my pigmentation around the mouth. Also I prefer using things with an spf for the daytime so I can combine skincare and sun protection in one. Since my skin is oily, using two different things often feels so heavy. I have beenusing Aveeno products off and on since the last few years and I am so impressed. Read on to know more about this moisturizer from Aveeno!

What Aveeno claims-

Let’s start with the tone. It has no colour to it but has a little bit of a sheen which makes the skin look more bright. You can almost never notice it unless you are standing in the direct light. It gives a very glossy and healthy look to the skin.

The texture after putting this on is so smooth and almost like you have a primer with some silicon in it. It is very smooth and goes on so easy. Even foundation glides on so nicely because of the silicon like finish. It moisturizes the skin very well and would hydrate dry and oily skin both. If you are looking for something that mattifies the skin, then this surely is not for you as it gives a glossy look to the face and does not control any oil. It does not feel heavy or make you look like a grease ball at all. Its just the perfect balance between sheen and matte.

I dont have any brown spots so I cannot comment on that. It has no coverage since it is non tinted hence it does not cover any up either.

The dullness is definitely taken away by this product thanks to the really really fine shimmer particles it has. You can almost never notice them in artificial lights. It also gets rid of blotchiness since it goes on very smooth.

I am not sure if I will be repurchasing this again because it is quite expensive for the price. That being said I dont think I have anything that kind of acts like a moisturizer and primer in one. My skin does get oily after sometime which I dont mind if because it does not claim to control oil in any way. I think people with dry skin are going to love this product so much. It is a good one to try and see if it works for you. 🙂
