I’m back with another review from the brand Colour Pop. I guess you can kind of tell that I love this brand. Their eyeshadows are actually what attracted me the most. The texture is so gorgeous and the pigmentation is to die for. Read on to know more about it.

Coming to the actual product, the colourpop eyeshadows come in a wide variety of colours. The packaging is somewhat similar to the Mac’s Painpots and other cream eyeshadows out there. A pretty round container with a screw on top. It is recommended to store this upside down to prevent the shadow from drying out.
The texture is very different and unlike anything I have seen before. It is between powder and cream. Feels almost bouncy to the touch. When you put it on your finger or brush it feels more creamy but in the eyelid it is entirely like a powder shadow. I actually love the texture and the weave patterns on it. The surface becomes smooth after putting it on a few times. The shadow works best when applied with fingers as you can keep it as concentrated as you want. With the brush it does not feel like it gives complete coverage. The pigmentation is so amazing. Just one swipe will give you proper colour and pigment. The colour is a shimmery rose gold with very minute shimmers. It is so pretty for Indian Ethnic outfits. Goes well with almost anything. I use it with a darker shadow in the crease or just with a gradient colour to give it a more polished look.
The staying power is really great. Even without a Primer it lasts about 5 hours in the hot and humid weather. If you use a primer, it makes it look a lot more vibrant and increases the staying power by 2 hours or so. Using this with fingers gives a better colour payoff. I would not recommend using it with a brush unless it’s a crease colour.
Overall I love these shadows, I only have good things to say about them. For such a low price you cannot go wrong with these. If you manage to get your hands on them dont let go of the opportunity.
