Hey girls
Today I am reviewing the mascara I am recently using. I always switch out my mascaras every few months or whenever they stop working for me. I have very thin eyelashes that tend to point downwards all the time which is why I prefer using a curling mascara. I was actually leaning towards buying the Lash Princess mascara from Essence but seeing that this one is supposed to curl your lashes, I just bought this. Correct decision or not? Read on to find 🙂

The mascara top is one that twists and makes the mascara head go clockwise or anti clockwise depending on the direction you are twisting it in. I am not a fan of this feature. Initially I just couldnt understand what they meant by it and what rotated. Honestly, it does nothing for me. It’s just very hard to apply the mascara while twisting it!
The wand is straight and has short bristles. The formula is not very clumpy but does not hold the curl very nicely either. I totally disagree with the volume claim. It does add a bit of length but not too much volume. I am not a big fan of the brush as it does not provide too much of a curl on its own. Lashes tend to fall down pretty fast.
The mascara does not flake but if you go overboard it does look a little bit clumpy but it does not give you spidery lashes. It is not waterproof which is good because then it comes off easily. It does not coat the lashes properly which is why I dont like the brush too much. I kind of wish I had bought the lash princess one because it’s brush was similar to my Maybelline Falsies which is pretty good in providing a good lift and curl to the lashes.
I would recommend this mascara to the people who have lashes that curl naturally. If you have straight lashes then you would be better off trying another one. I am waiting for the three months on this to be done so I can get another version 🙂
Here is a pic of my lashes with only this mascara on.
PROS:
1. Affordable
2. Does not flake
3. Does not transfer on oily eyelids
CONS:
1. Does not curl lashes or hold curl
2. False volume claim
3. Does not coat all lashes in one go
My rating -3/5
See ya 🙂

This is probably the most popular product by essence so far I haven’t tried it yet though. Good review. 🙂

I am also using one of the Essence Mascara currently, I am pretty much happy with that ..forgot the name. This seems okay. So many variants they have I allways get confused 🙂 Nice review

I have never used any of their products, but I have heard good things about them, This one seems like a fail though.
