Plum Goodness – Nurturance night cream review

Hope you all are having a lovely week. I have been meaning to do this post since so long. If you follow me on Facebook, you must have seen the picture of my latest order from Plum Goodness. I ordered a few of their products a few months ago to see if they suit my skin. The results have been so good that I ordered an entire set from their Sea Buckthorn collection this time. I’m writing this post after using their Renaissance mask for the first time, I must say I feel inspired 😛

I wonder if I have ever mentioned my eczema on my blog(s) before. But if I haven’t I will mention that I have suffered from Eczema since almost 14 years now. It’s a random recurring skin rash that happens on my upper lip area and my eyelids, also my lips. Call it co-incidence or weather change, I feel like these products have helped it get so much better. A while ago I got a very bad infection on the Eczema areas. It was so bad that I could not even open my mouth to eat without getting cracks on the corners. That hurt so bad.

So back to the review. I saw a few posts from other bloggers featuring Plum products. The reviews were always good so I thought I should try it out too. Somehow I dont feel that happy about putting on chemicals on my skin. I feel like they will not be good in the long run so I was looking for some products with natural ingredients. Before using these, I was using Skincare from a Chandigarh based clinic which was also organic but I did not see much of a difference with those products. So I decided to order from Plum. As per their different skin categories I was supposed to use the Aloe range as it was best suited for sensitive skin. I also wanted  a night cream hence I ordered this one. The review on the Aloe wash and moisturizer will be up soon.

Price- 525/-

The texture of this cream is so unlike a cream. It is between a moisturizer and  cream. Absorbs so quickly and does not feel heavy at all. The fragrance is very sweet too. It does not linger on for too long which is good as it may not be good for sensitive skin. Skin instantly feels so soft after putting this on. I have always read that a night cream is very essential for proper skin repair and I also believe that it is true. I always wake up with smooth skin if I have used this the night before.

The packaging is very sturdy and heavy as well. It may not be too good to travel with since the glass container is pretty heavy. I have accidentally dropped it once but it did not break. Phew! I am glad that the price is not too much. Good skincare in this price range is always welcome.

The shipping was so quick. I got a message that my product has been shipped within 2 hours of placing the order although the shipping company took about 4 days to deliver it which is still not bad.

It did not break me out. I do have skin that tends to misbehave sometimes. I get such big acne at times which refuse to go away for atleast 20 days. It is crazy and so annoying honestly. But this cream did not do any of that considering it is a cream.

I’m glad the people at Plum Goodness do not support the whitening trend. There was a time when even I wanted a whitening cream but now I totally believe that you should be happy in your skin and try to improve it’s texture rather than trying to go whiter. Every skin colour is beautiful.

I just hope that the Plum team comes up with some products that deal with Skin pigmentation and spots. I read their comment somewhere that they are working on it so YAY! I am eagerly waiting.

Overall I only have good things to say about this. I do believe you should give it a try and feel the difference for yourself. It’s not often that you go back to a brand and place another order so that you can have a backup hehe 🙂 I did not want to run out of it so I ordered a backup before hand 🙂

2. Improves skin texture

3. Makes skin smooth and soft

4. Not too expensive

5. Caters to different skin types

6. Does not make skin oily

7. No Animal Testing! YAY

CONS:

1. Fragrance may not be everyone’s cup of tea
