The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter Review!

I literally cant believe I did not know makeup cleansing butters existed 😐 I must have been living under a rock or something. I always hated using a cotton wipe to remove my makeup. That is the main reason why I always bought a washable mascara. I could just wash my face any get all of the eye makeup off. I would then go over with a remover and some cotton to make sure I got it all, plus that way I did not have to keep rupping my eyes with the cotton pad and annoying them too much. I have recently discovered this cleansing butter from the Body Shop and it has been my favourite thing ever. Read on to know more 🙂

How these cleansing butters work are – you take some of it on your hand and rub it on your face. It literally makes me look so funny when everything is just there, my face is always different shades of red or black. I usually just wash my face either with just plain water or with a face wash afterwards. Even if you wash it off with just water there are is no greasy residue left behind. Your face feels squeeky clean.

It takes off all kinds of makeup including waterproof mascara very easily. Sometimes there can be a tiny hint of mascara left on the lashes which just comes off with water or a little bit more of this butter. This stuff is expensive but I think it would give you a lot more uses that a typical liquidy makeup remover. Plus no stress of mixing two kinds of liquids and then using and wasting a lot of cotton pads. Its also easy to travel with this. This was a constant companion on all my trips last month.

I have sensitive, eczema prone skin but I have noticed no irritation, breaking out or rashes from using this. Sometimes cotton used to annoy my face but I am glad I found an alternative. Using your fingers to remove makeup is a lot more gentle than using cotton wipes or swabs. I am completely happy with this purchase and I will surely buy this as soon as I run out. I think this is a more affordable version of a similar product from Clinique. I am a huge fan and thumbs up to The Body Shop for coming out with this.
