Colourpop Matte X Lippie Stix in Chateau Review!

I’m finally starting the reviews of all the new things I have been using the last couple of months. Colourpop is my new favourite drugstore brand. No kidding, I have not bought a MAC lipstick ever since I found Colourpop. The price is just perfect and it comes in sooo many different textures and finishes. The Matte X range is a new range they came up with a little while ago. These lippies glide on very very smooth and turn to a powdery finish. It does transfer a bit so if you are looking for completely smudge proof lipsticks then you should go for the Ultra Matte range. Read on to know more about this one 🙂

Autumn/Fall 2016 Makeup Look 1!

Hey pretties

I am finally back to doing some looks and I just wanted to put all of my new makeup on my face in the same day. But alas, we can go one at a time only. I got a lot of new eyeshadow palettes recently that I wanted to use to create some looks (See my haul here). The first one that I started with is the Morphe 35O palette. I finally managed to lay my hands on it and boy am I stunned. It is a beautiful palette and the pigmentation is insane. These brands are the reason why I have not gone back to High end makeup like Mac in a while. I think the quality of the Morphe brushes palette is at par with any expensive makeup brand. The next palette that I will be using will be the Modern Renaissance one. That one is equally stunning as well. I love having lots and lots of shadows in my collection even if I dont wear them everyday.

I went for a warm copper smokey eye with a dark lip which I think is the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Autumn. Although I am a summer person, I dont mind the other seasons too much either. I could find no lip liners in my stash that matched this lip color which is why it came out a little bit patchy. Its so easy to line your lips with a liquid lipstick but so hard to do that with a normal one.
