I’m back with another skincare review for you all. I did a Just Herbs haul a while ago and got a few things from their collection. Since the last few years I have been big time into organic skincare. I try to use as little chemicals on my face as possible as I have chronic eczema and I dont like irritating my skin with some extra chemicals (read my eczema story here). I first tried Just Herbs when I got a sample size of their sunscreen in my Fab Bag a few years ago. I just loved how that sunscreen felt so I decided to order some more skincare during a Nykaa sale.

Since the heat is literally killing us these days, I thought why not do another sunscreen review. I bought this sunscreen and the one I reviewed previously (Here) in a few days interval. Lotus is such an amazing brand when it comes to sunscreens. They literally have so many different varieties of them. You can always find one which suits your skin type the most. A lot of the sunscreens in their collection cater to those with oily skin. Today I am reviewing a matte sunscreen in the gel form which is perfect if you have oily skin.

The price is pretty good for the quantity that you get. The sunscreen comes in a 50g pack which would be enough to last you for an entire summer. The SPF factor is 50 which is again very very impressive considering we see so many other brands come out with only about 20 or 30 spf mostly. Lotus has sunscreens that go upto 90 as well.

I have a new skincare review for you all. I have been trying out this Lotus Sunscreen since the last few weeks and I am ready to share my thoughts with you all. I absolutely trust Lotus when it comes to Sunscreens. I used to have their Matte sunblock back when I was in college and I loved using it. I am honestly very impressed by how good their range of sunscreens is. Read on to know more about this one 🙂

So I shared a little preview of my birthday haul from Gerard Cosmetics on the blog earlier. I thought I will do a full post with my experience and shipping info etc. So Gerard Cosmetics is a brand from the US which got a lot of popularity on Instagram and youtube. The brand was called Color your smile earlier and was later renamed to Gerard Cosmetics. The first time I heard of them was about 3 years ago when I saw Carli Bybel use one of their lip glosses in so many of her videos. The colour she used is called N*de and believe me I have wanted that ever since then. Its just such a perfect colour. Later on Jaclyn Hill did a collaboration with them and came out with a lipstick and a lip gloss (She has cut of all ties with the brand now) which got a lot of love from Beauty gurus. I just kept on drooling and drooling but did not order until now.

Today I will be reviewing the product that I use most of the times when I am in the mood for contouring. The times these days are all about a sculpted look and giving your face that dimension. There are so many products available (sadly not as many in India) that can help you achieve that contoured look. The most popular ones that I see are the Anastasia Beverly Hills contour kits. I dont own any of those kits because I dont contour and bronze on an everyday basis. Today I will review this ELF concealer that was meant to be a concealer but since it’s in the shade dark it serves as the perfect contouring product.

Sorry for being missing from the blog since the last few days. I have been a bit busy with work and home. Anyway, I am bringing you my favourite serum of the moment. I have been using this since the last few months and I absolutely love it. It’s very affordable and lasts pretty long as well. I got it from a Khadi store locally. One thing I am not 100% sure of is whether this is the same Khadi we see online or not. The store I got my stuff from had a lot of skincare, hair and food items. I literally bought so much stuff from there. You can see a picture of it on my Instagram (follow me there if you’re not already).

So you know I had to do this post right?! I mean this thing is everywhere ever since Nikkie Tutorials started using it. All credits of discovery go to her. So basically this is a men’s after shave balm which can be used as an inexpensive primer before you apply makeup on. Now I am personally not a very big primer person. I’m the kind who always forgets to use primer before my foundation. Almost every single time. Thanks to my skin genes I dont have too many pores or very loose skin which is maybe why I almost never use a primer. The only primer I have been using apart from this one is the Benefit Porefessional. I dont prefer using one everyday because I think it kind of clogs pores but I have heard that perhaps that extra layer is necessary between your skincare and makeup. What I think of this one? I just realized I have done so few skincare posts in the last few months. I try so many skincare products very often because I am always looking to find something that can help me improve my skintone and get rid of my pigmentation around the mouth. Also I prefer using things with an spf for the daytime so I can combine skincare and sun protection in one. Since my skin is oily, using two different things often feels so heavy.
