Hey Pretty people
Hope you’re all having a lovely week. It’s finally Friday tomorrow, YAY! I love Fridays. They’re the best days of the week if you ask me hehe. Today I thought I would review two of my favourite lip glosses out there. I have 4 of them in my collection and will review 2 today. These are the best lip glosses out there, I absolutely loveeee them. Read on to find more about them.
Price – $5, not sure how much they cost in India
Let’s start off with the colour selection first. They have a very nice colour range with different shades and you are sure to find one for your skintone. The ones I am reviewing today are a light coral and a light neutral colour. In the US you can always buy them on offers and they’re easily available everywhere. If you get your hands on them, do not let them go.
The lip glosses smell amazing. They are a bit similar to Mac lipsticks only a bit nicer 😛 They smell like Vanilla chocolate, not sure if someone does not like that fragrance, I personally love it. They come in a clear glass tubes with matching caps so it becomes pretty easy to recognize the colours.
The pigmentation is soo good. It’s more like a liquid lipstick. On one swipe they give a nice colour payoff. Because the colours I am reviewing today are a bit light and my lips are completely unpigmented they kind of look similar but believe me they are different colours. I love using these on top of a lip liner. If you use the Maple Blondie colour over a netural lip liner it gives the more beautiful natural pink colour out there. Totally recommend that combination.
Coming to the colour wise review. Tiramisu is the darkest netural colour in the range I think. It is the perfect n*de shade. It is still a bit light for our Indian skintones so most of you over NC 40 it may wash out. You can ofcourse always use it with a lip liner and make it work. If you like the light lipstick look I think you should surely buy this colour. This is my favourite colour out of the collection and I absolutely love it.
The colour Maple Blondie is more of a Coral colour. It also gives a beautiful everyday finish. I would recommend using this colour with a lip liner as it works best with that and makes the gloss last a lot longer. I absolutely love touching these up throughout the day as the texture and vanilla fragrance just make me so happy hehe.
The lasting power is average like any other lip gloss. Dont expect these to last you over 2-3 hours. I dont mind it because retouching is never a problem for me. They are completely non sticky and feel sooo light on the lips. It does actually feel like butter if that makes any sense haha.
Overall, I say these are the best lip glosses in the market. If you see them in Sephora or anywhere online you must buy them. They are awesome, for this price you will not regret.
